I had a legit moment in which I quoted Santana Lopez unintentionally. The quote being, “Ok, like a million awesome gay jokes just popped into my head”.
It was magical. Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone caught it.
Not sure if flirting because she likes me, or kissing ass because she wants my job…. -_-
We made it to the end of the show in tech-sans the bleeding curtain effect at the end of the show. It may have taken 3 extra hours of lighting session, a day in which the ASM’s got a total of a 30 minute break from 8 am to 11 pm, and 43 minutes of overtime for 27 AGMA members, BUT WE DID IT. The worst is over, and I’ve done the best I can to prepare for the potential curveballs costumes may add during 1st dress on Sunday. As intense and busy as this show is, I’m really surprised at how smoothly it all went. The director only yelled once, and it was at some douche that had left their bag in the aisle of a dark theater…completely and 100% deserved.
And last night was the company welcome picnic which consisted of free food and free booze and although I was dead tired from tech, it turned out to be much more fun than I was expecting. I also finally witnessed the dance to the chorus’ new version of “City on Fire”. I shall post the lyrics below.

And it’s even more grotesque with the dance that goes along with it.
